The Association of Creative Craftspeople of Fuerteventura (Asociación de Artesanos Creativos de Fuerteventura) is a collective of professional artisans working across the island, offering a wide range of handmade products rooted in the island’s cultural traditions and natural surroundings. The association supports local craftspeople through events, education, and online sales, aiming to promote Fuerteventura as a hub for creative craftsmanship in the Canary Islands.

The Artesans
The collective features over a dozen artisans from across the island, each specialising in a different craft. Through the website, you can search by product type or for a specific artisan.
Some of the artists include Martin Rehák, a Czechoslovakian macramé artist who makes a range of products, including jewellery and wall hangings. You can view his work and profile here.
Another artist is Carmen González, born in Andalucia but who has lived in Fuerteventura for 20 years. She is the owner of gugudoll, her small business selling handmade fabric dolls, toys and other items such as fabric nappies. Her bold and colourful collection can be viewed here.
